Digital Portrait Studies.

While most of my art work takes place on paper, I do love to work digitally too. With my 10.5” ipad pro, an apple pencil, and the incredibly powerful (and inexpensive!) Procreate app I have a lot of fun exploring digital portraiture - usually while “watching” tv with my family in the evening.

Drawing on the ipad in Procreate is surprisingly like drawing on paper, I find, but is so much faster for me. It’s also so much easier than needing to be plugged into a computer to use Photoshop (no offence, Photoshop. I love you too!). Below are some of my favorite portrait studies.
